WATCH: Latest #MannequinChallenge Video Highlights Police Brutality
The Mannequin Challenge has been taking the Internet by storm with folks freezing in motion, so Vine star Simone Shepherd decided to hop on, too.
She posted a video yesterday (November 9) to her account with the #MannequinChallenge hashtag, highlighting police brutality. The short video features reenactments of the deaths of Sandra Bland, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile and hints at Trayvon Martin’s, as well as anti-police brutality protests by football player Colin Kaepernick and at Black Lives Matter rallies. It was made in part with the upcoming film “Black in Blue,” TIME reports.
