Prince, Phife Dawg and More Deceased Icons Honored in New Peanut Butter Wolf Mixes

Underground hip-hop icon and Stones Throw Records founder Peanut Butter Wolf recognized those musical pioneers whose deaths rattled 2016 with two playlists released via Mass Appeal yesterday (January 2). 

The producer and DJ's mixes include works from legends Maurice White, Prince, Billy Paul, Rod Temperton and George Michael alongside lesser-known deceased artists of color like Victor Bailey and Sharon Jones. Listen to the mixes, embedded below, and check out the tracklists here
