Powerhouse singer Lalah Hathaway blessed us Wednesday (January 20) with a transcendent reinterpretation of her father Donny Hathaway's classic plea for impoverished Black youth, "Little Ghetto Boy."
The new version, "Ghetto Boy," builds on the original with guest verses from Snoop Dogg and instrumental contributions from Robert Glasper and Terrace Martin—all of whom were featured on Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp a Butterfly." The musicians are featured in the minimalist video above.
