Harlem's Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is livestreaming a debate about the often-derided politics of responsibility tonight (February 2) at 6:30 p.m. ET. The debaters are:

Brittney Cooper, Salon columnist and Rutgers University professor of women's and gender studies.
Mychal Denzel Smith, Nation Institute fellow and author of the upcoming book, "Invisible Man, Got the Whole World Watching"
Randall Kennedy, Harvard University law professor and writer of last fall's Harper's magazine essay "Lifting as We Climb: In Defense of the Politics of Respectability"
