#RIPTommy: Fans Honor the Late Tommy Ford With Their Favorite 'Martin' Clips
This year took yet another Black entertainment icon with yesterday's (October 12) announcement of Thomas "Tommy" Mikal Ford's death. He was 52.
People confirmed Ford's death after TMZ reported he was on life support following a ruptured aneurysm in his abdomen. He is best known for his role as "Tommy Strawn" on Martin Lawrence's eponymous 90s sitcom. He also appeared in "New York Undercover" and "The Parkers," among many other projects.
Fans mourned Ford's passing on social media by posting their favorite Tommy moments with the hashtag #RIPTommy:
