Apparently states can do that. Dope.

State legislators, take note: you can create a Beyoncé Day.

Minnesota lawmakers commemorated yesterday (May 23)—the same day that Bey stopped at Minneapolis' TCF Bank Stadium for her "Formation World Tour" performance—as "Beyoncé Day."

According to the Star Tribune, Beyoncé made local history yesterday not only for the day in her name, but for being the first woman to headline a Twin Cities-area stadium concert. If that doesn't merit your own day, what does?
