Jada, Ava, Questlove and Others Address Freddie Gray Unrest

Artists are showing anger and confusion about the Baltimore uprising and the death that sparked it.

Across America, frustration, anger and sadness have erupted right along with the chaos in the streets of Baltimore. The turmoil has unfolded in response to the killing of Freddie Gray, a black man who died after suffering a broken spine while in police custody. The Baltimore police have yet to answer pertinent questions around the exact cause of his death. 

Several of our favorite artists are among those using social media platforms to share vent about Gray's death, police violence and slated media coverage.
