- Residents in Buffalo, New York, are bracing for even more snow--a total of eight feet may fall in just one week. Eight people have died so far.
- Amnesty International details the Syrian refugee crisis--and how, among the international community, Turkey is doing the heavy lifting.
- A Swedish court of appeals upholds the arrest warrant for Julian Assange, who's wanted to appear to answer for rape allegations against him.
- Applications for unemployment benefits dip for the 10th week in a row.
- Yahoo it? Firefox drops Google for Yahoo as its default search engine.
- Following increasing rape allegations against Bill Cosby, TV Land* will stop running "Cosby Show" reruns, and NBC has cancelled a new Cosby sitcom that was under development.
- Westminster, Mass., drops a proposal to ban all tobacco sales.
- NASA publishes a rather gorgeous video that simulates how carbon dioxide spreads in the atmosphere. It almost makes something so deadly look a little too beautiful.
