Color Commentary: Out With the Old Black Politics?

I'm still trying to work my way through this New York Times Magazine article about the generational gap between civil rights era politicians and their political progeny, namely Barack Obama. It's going to be my reading for the train, but some have already responded. Feministing already noticed that no Black women politicians were featured in the piece. Leave your comments.
