3 BET Awards Performances Worth Watching All Week

Forget the statues. The performances were the real winners.

A-list Black stars across music, film, TV and activism gathered at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles last night (June 24) for the 2018 BET Awards. Despite the show's ostensible focus on awards, the moments we loved best were the tremendous musical performances. Here are three of the most noteworthy sets: 

A tribute to Anita Baker, featuring Ledisi, Yolanda Adams, Marsha Ambrosius and host Jamie Foxx:
