State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby has only been on the job four months—and has been faced by tremendous pressure to file charges against the six officers connected to Freddie Gray’s arrest and transport on April 12.

She announced charges against all six officers today, but also remarked about her job, her city, and the people in it. Among those she thanked today were the Baltimore youth, telling them, “I will seek justice on your behalf.”
