All anybody in our (electronic) newsroom wants to talk about is the heat. Our Cali folks are chilling, but we’re withering over here in NYC and D.C. And you know what that means: short fuses. As Jamilah said, "It’s race-riot hot." Which has me thinking it’s time for a screening of "Do The Right Thing," Spike Lee’s classic recounting of one 100 degree day in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. I could pull any number of unforgettable clips, but I’ll go with the love, ’cause that’s how we roll at Here’s Radio Raheem, telling the story of love vs. hate, Stuy-style. Add your own favorite scene from Spike’s ode to my neighborhood in the comments.
