For the first time, a reality show that centers first generation Indian Americans will air on U.S. television when Bravo TV debuts "Family Karma" on March 8, NBC News reported. The series will follow seven young friends who grew up together–Brian Benni, Bali Chainani, Amrit Kapai, Vishal Parvani, Shaan Patel, Anisha Ramakrishna and Monica Vaswani–“as they try and strike a balance between following their own paths and living their own dreams in Miami, while also staying true to their families’ traditions,” according to the Bravo. As Ramakrishna said in the trailer, "[Twenty] percent of the world is Indian, so we’re here."
