WATCH: ‘Daily Show’ Hilariously Breaks Down Third-Party Presidential Candidates

By Kenrya Rankin Aug 19, 2016

Wondering who you can vote for this fall other than Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump? “The Daily Show With Trevor Noah” has you covered, with last night’s (August 18) primer on the third-party candidates who have thrown their hats in the ring for the presidency.

In the segment above, Noah joins correspondents Hasan Minhaj, Desi Lydic and Adam Lowitt to talk about this election cycle’s other three choices for president: Green Party’s Dr. Jill Stein, Libertarian Gary Johnson and Independent Evan McMullin.

Noah, who hails from South Africa, began the segment by explaining his confusion with the American two-party system of government. “When it comes to everything except presidential candidates, Americans have the most choices for more things that anyone else in the world. Like, I can walk into a supermarket—any supermarket in American—and choose from literally 400 different kinds of yogurt,” he said. “And yet, when it comes to selecting America’s next leader for the next four years, you’re stuck with two choices: Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Or to put that in yogurt terms: vanilla and Sriracha baboon anus.”

Watch the video above to see what the show has to say about the third-party candidates—and their chances of winning.
