Last week, the Children’s Defense Fund released their Protect Children, Not Guns 2012 report that highlights national and state data on how gun violence affects children and teens in America. According to the report, the children and teens killed by guns in 2008 and 2009, would fill more than 229 classroom of 25 students each. Gun homicide is the number one cause of death for black teens.
