While Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump tries to sell his anti-immigration platform with less-xenophobic language than before, one of his most prominent Latino supporters unintentionally sparked a trending topic backlash with a surreal doomsday premonition.
Latinos for Trump founder @MarcoGutierrez: "you’re gonna have taco trucks on every corner" #inners https://t.co/Vifo3q7Ah8

"My culture is a very dominant culture, and it’s imposing—and it’s causing problems," Marco Gutierrez of Latinos for Trump told MSNBC’s Joy-Ann Reid last night (September 1). "If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner."
Gutierrez’s prediction of a culture clash didn’t go as well as he probably anticipated. Instead, people took to social media and wondered what was wrong with something so delicious, turning #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner into a trending topic on Twitter:
Dude my life would be complete! Taco trucks have THE best tacos. #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner

Puzzled over how #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner is a bad thing. We can have Mexican tacos, Korean tacos, Italian tacos. #makethishappen
