Show a Little Love, Say Something Nice

An improv group asks New Yorkers to share the good in life.

By Julianne Hing Sep 02, 2011

When the folks at Improv Everywhere rolled out a podium in front of New York City’s Madison Square Park with a megaphone attached to it, folks were welcome to shout whatever they wanted to the passing crowds, with a catch. Affixed to the podium was a sign that directed people to: "Say something nice."

And people obliged. Check out what folks had to say on that beautiful day.

What would you say if you had your own megaphone?

We’re ending the day as often as possible by celebrating love. We welcome your ideas for posts. Send suggestions to, and be sure to put Celebrate Love in the subject line.
