At this point, it seems like Shonda Rhimes can do no wrong. The creator of ABC’s "Scandal" recenly announced that she’s teaming up with another black Hollywood heavyweight, Viola Davis, to star in a Philadelphia-based pilot called "How to Get Away With Murder."

With the success of racially diverse "Scandal," Rhimes gained a new platform to talk about Hollywood’s lack of color and her mission to change it. "I think it’s sad, and weird, and strange that it’s still a thing," she told the New York Times last year aout the lack of diversity in the industry. "It’s 2013. Somebody else needs to get their act together. And, oh, by the way, it works. Ratings-wise, it works."

Davis, meanwhile, earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in "The Help."
