Sarah Palin and Fox News Knock Out LL Cool J

According to Fox News, Sarah Palin’s new show was created to share "American stories." The commercials promoting the first show suggests that Palin interviews country musician Toby Keith; John F. Welch Jr., the former chairman of General Electric; and LL Cool J, the rapper and star of “NCIS: Los Angeles.” But LL Cool J isn’t having any of that. Last night he updated his Twitter feed explaining he was never interviewed for the new Palin show and that Fox was misrepresenting him. In a statement sent to the NY Times, Fox News said:

“Real American Stories” features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.

Fox News also clarified the footage was from an interview with LL Cool J in its studios a year and half ago for a program called “Real American Stories,”.
