Today (June 28), Colorlines publisher Race Forward announced that it is joining with Center for Social Inclusion (CSI) to further their shared mission of advancing racial equity. Current CSI president, Glenn Harris, will run the new organization, which will operate under the name Race Forward. Outgoing executive director, Rinku Sen, will move into the role of senior strategist, continuing her 16 years of work with Race Forward.

“Uniting as one organization is about combining our experiences, skills and talents to address the multiple crises that communities of color face in this country,” Harris said in a statement. “Our work remains the same: to transform institutions and to partner with communities to use policy, culture and narrative to center racial equity.”
