Mother’s Day Cards for Mamas of All Kinds

By Julianne Hing May 07, 2015

Is your mama your grandmother? Did your mom, or dad, raise you on their own? Do you have two (or more) moms? Is your mother behind bars?

If you answered yes to any of the above, there’s a mother’s day card for you and your family. Strong Families, a project of the Oakland, Ca.-based non-profit Forward Together, is back with its annual boundary-breaking Mama’s Day e-cards to celebrate moms in the most expansive definition of the word–across all genders, relationships, and family configurations. (In a fun twist, this year’s cards are also topical, with shout-outs to Black Lives Matter and the "Radical Brownies," the alternative Girl Scouts troop.)

To send an e-card to the person you call mom, head to mamasday.org
