How the World Views Trump’s Presidency in One Crazy Chart

The Pew Research Center asked thousands of people in 37 countries how confident they are that President Donald Trump will “do the right thing regarding world affairs.” As is, the numbers are disheartening. But when they are placed beside the same confidence scores collected when former President Barack Obama was in office, they are downright depressing. The median confidence level in Trump is 22 percent; it was 64 percent for Obama. Note that two of the surveyed countries trust Trump more than Obama: Russia and Israel.
