It was only a matter of time. Between [mulling over a 2012 presidential run](http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/2009/11/23/2009-11-23_excnn_anchor_lou_dobbs_is_considering_running_for_president_in_2012.html) and [balking at accusations](http://www.thenation.com/article/155209/lou-dobbs-american-hypocrite) that he knowingly hired undocumented workers, former CNN anchor Lou Dobbs is headed back on the air. The Los Angeles Times reported that Fox Business Network is set to announce its signing of Dobbs sometime on Wednesday. Dobbs’ three decade run with CNN [ended](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naNF2P-rz9c) in November of 2009, when he [resigned](http://articles.latimes.com/2009/nov/12/entertainment/et-lou-dobbs12) amid pressure from Latino advocacy groups over his inflammatory anti-immigrant rhetoric. In the video above, Presente.org issued its strongest case for cutting Dobbs loose. On the night that he announced his resignation from CNN, Dobbs said the following: > Over the past six months, it’s become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond my role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem-solving, as well as to contribute positively to a better understanding of the great issues of our day. And to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible. It looks like that day has come.
