A new concert series that mixes performances by heavyweight rappers and R&B singers with comedy and lively panels is heading out on a nationwide tour. Live Nation Urban’s Femme It Forward will showcase stars such as Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Jill Scott, and City Girls, among many others, both onstage and behind the scenes. 

The tour, which is described as “multi-format,” will include comedy shows and panel discussions in addition to performances. Its goal is to underline the power of women in entertainment both on and off the stage, Live Nation announced on April 16. 

“This past year has been an exceptional one for women in music and entertainment, and with the incredible contributions of women, it is fitting that we honor the future of music and its continued steps on the path to inclusion,” a spokesperson for Live Nation Urban told Pollstar.

Tickets for Femme It Forward go on sale tomorrow (April 19) for shows April through October. A portion of sales will go to various charities supporting women’s empowerment and advancement.
