Today was Andre Banks last day at Colorlines and I simply had to blog today. Reading over these brilliant posts I am inspired by what kind of dialogue, what kind of content has developed in this space, so I wanted to drop some love notes all over your head Andre! Thank you for encouraging people to write thoughtfully about race. Thank you for modeling strength and blackness and masculinity in such a myriad of magical ways. Thank you for your tender gentle prodding and your cynical pushes and your beautiful gratitude for any and all work, for your righteous feedback, for your big heart that believes in the power of the word.
