Beyoncé‘s latest release, the adventerous visual album "Lemonade," has earned tremendous acclaim for many reasons, including its genre-crossing music. Country- and blues-inspired track "Daddy’s Lessons" not only shows that she can make whatever music she wants, but also underscores blues and country’s collective origins in Southern Black communities.

While Country Music Television’s Alison Bonaguro made it clear that she doesn’t think of "Daddy Lessons" as a real country song, country superstars Dixie Chicks certainly does. The group covered the song during a recent show in Manchester, England. Check out a video of the performance, which was posted on YouTube on Saturday (April 30).
