Daily Love From Colorlines Readers to You

We asked our readers for images to celebrate their love. Here's what you gave us. Enjoy!

By Jorge Rivas Feb 16, 2011

On Valentine’s day we asked you, our readers, to share images of love with us. And today we’re honored to bring you those photos.

Our editorial director Kai Wright wrote about how we’re often the bearer of a lot of bad news and how important the daily love posts are for us. Kai wrote: "Last fall, amid a drumbeat of headlines about LGBT youth committing suicide, the Colorlines.com team finally felt like we’d heard all the bad news we could blog. So we decided that we’d end every day with some good news–a daily celebration of love."

And we really are honored that our readers are sharing the love with us today. Turns out we share a lot of the same interests: grandmothers were popular, along with kisses, laughter and community activism.

You can send links to videos, graphics, photos, quotes, whatever. Or just chime in to the comments below and we’ll find you. Be sure to let us know you’ve got the rights to share any media you send.
