Survey Sheds Light on Female Immigrant Experience A poll conducted by New America Media reveals distinct challenges female immigrants face upon moving to the U.S. Many women sacrifice professional employment status upon arriving in this country. LA Times Asian Americans for the Environment The California League of Conservation Voters Education Fund has found that an overwhelming majority of Asian Americans in California identify themselves as environmentalists, and would actively take part in voting for pro-environment issues.
