You may have noticed Colorlines was down for an hour or so this afternoon. Our apologies for cutting out on you, dear readers. In short, so many folks were hungry for news about racial justice today that the traffic overwhelmed our server. Guess it’s time for that upgrade, huh? Seriously, we’re thrilled to see our community growing so quickly. In fact, Colorlines’ audience has grown ten-fold in the past year. Our Facebook community is just a few hundred short of 10,000 (get your friends to push us over the top!). And our reporters and editors are joining conversations about race and the news all over the media landscape.
