3 Dope Videos in Celebration of A Tribe Called Quest’s Reunion Tonight

By Kenrya Rankin Nov 13, 2015

Set your DVR: A Tribe Called Quest will reunite tonight for a performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The group—Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White—haven’t graced the stage together since 2013, when they opened for Kanye West’s Yeezus tour. The show kicks off on NBC tonight at 11:35 p.m.

The appearance coincides with today’s release of the 25th anniversary special edition of their first album, “People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm.” It features re-mastered versions of the original songs, plus new remixes from artists who have cited the group as a creative influence, including Pharrell Williams (“Bonita Applebum”), J. Cole (“Can I Kick It?”) and CeeLo Green (“Footprints”).

In celebration of this joyous occasion, Colorline pulled together some favorite Tribe songs. Enjoy their videos below!

"Electric Relaxation" from "Midnight Marauders" (1993)

"Jazz (We’ve Got)" from "The Low End Theory" (1991)
