John Henry Matteson was apprehended shortly after he allegedly stabbed a worshipper outside a Simi Valley mosque.

The letter, which threatens that President-elect Donald Trump will “do to you Muslims what Hitler did to the Jews,” was sent to mosques from Rhode Island to California.

“Times change, and rules need to change with them,” Amaiya Zafar says of the policy that bans her from wearing a hijab in the ring.

“Although the majority of Muslim Americans within California and throughout the nation strive to promote peace and understanding between all faiths, identities and nationalities … they have nonetheless been forced to endure harassment, assault and discrimination.”

The hashtag—a clarion call for Muslim women who are sick of the stereotype that says they have no voice—emerged after Donald Trump criticized Ghazala Khan’s silence during the Democratic National Convention last week.

The Muslim-American advocacy group advertises the satirical drug as a cure for the Islamophobic thought and rhetoric pervading this election cycle.
