A seventh grader was shot and killed the morning of May 22 in the Bronx. 14-year-old Christopher Duran was walking to school when he was reportedly ambushed—shot once in the head and three times in the gut. Tragic… at least by most accounts.

But Over at Mic, Tom McKay points out that some NYPD officers had a little less empathy.  In a Facebook post and comment section (some of which has already been altered, but preserved in a screenshot by Mic), four men that are or were NYPD cops made disparaging and racist remarks about the young teen and his family:
