But in a place like Chicago, a city that’s been ravaged by hundreds of homicides over the past several years, people are sharing their coping strategies. Darryl Holliday and E.N. Rodriguez teamed up to produce a comic for the Chicago Reader that traces the real-life ordeal of Nortasha Stingley, who’ 19-year-old daughter Marissa was shot and killed earlier this year.
