Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), a network of white racial justice activists, has put out a Justice for Trayvon Action Kit (PDF) that has a variety of concrete things people can do—some quick, some more involved, some more policy change oriented, others more oriented toward cultural change. It’s a really great resource to get informed and involved locally, and includes a list of short (tweeting), medium (donating to a racial justice group), and long-term actions (joining a local organization).
