Last Tuesday, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden met Haiti relief workers and Haitian President Rene Preval to reiterate U.S. support to rebuilding efforts in the country.

“I think this is a really good time for us to be here because some of the national attention has been drawn away from Haiti because there is so much else going on in the world” Mrs. Obama said. “But we have to remember that Haiti is still a long way from being resolved in any way, shape or form.”
